Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and The Pebble Club. Using the app means accepting them. We have kept them short and readable on purpose.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over. One account per person, and the details on it should be your own. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

The rules, in full

These are the same five rules you agree to when you join.

1. Be kind. Treat everyone with patience and respect.
2. No abuse, ever. Bullying, harassment, hate speech, or cruelty will not be tolerated.
3. Respect boundaries. If someone doesn't reply or wants to stop, that's okay. Never pressure anyone.
4. Keep it appropriate. No sexual content, no asking for money, no spam.
5. Look out for each other. If something feels wrong, report it. A person reviews every report.

Breaking these rules means losing your place here. We take this seriously so everyone can feel safe.

What we do about content

Messages, bios and song notes are screened automatically before they are delivered, and some are blocked. Every member can report another member or block them outright from any conversation. We aim to review every report within 24 hours, and we remove content and suspend or delete accounts where the rules have been broken.

Automatic screening is not perfect in either direction. If something gets through, report it. If something of yours was blocked and should not have been, email us.

Your content

What you write and the photos you share remain yours. You give us permission to store and show them to the people you are talking to, so that the app works. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from Profile, or from this page. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks the rules, and for serious harm we will do so without warning.

The legal part

The app is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will never be unavailable, and we are not responsible for what other members say or do, though we will act on it when you tell us. We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury or fraud caused by us. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

The Pebble Club is a friendship app. It is not a mental health service, a crisis service, or a substitute for professional support. If you are in distress, please see our help page.
